Andrews, Texas, YT Ranch Dove Hunts is a family run service that covers approximately
30,000 acres of prime dove hunting territory. That makes it one of the largest outfits
in the region. Professional service, friendly atmosphere and the West Texas landscape

- Half day hunts start at $150 per hunter and include 1 night of lodging, meals and

- Evening + Morning hunts start at $300 per and include lodging, meals and bird processing.

Until a few years ago I shot white wings in Mexico for many years, and now shoot
mourning dove here in the Mid-South every weekend beginning in September and culminating
with outstanding shoots in Texas. Although I have previously shot at other locations
in West Texas, nevertheless, your ranch far and away offered the finest mourning
dove shooting that I have ever experienced. The final afternoon this last October
indeed was spectacular, as I imagine that we saw perhaps a thousand or more doves
inside the six o'clock hour, would you not guess, all in absolutely gorgeous West
Texas weather and evening sky.

My wife and I have enjoyed hunting on the YT Ranch for the last two seasons on opening
day. The last season we found the mourning dove hunts spectacular. I have not seen
that many dove outside of Mexico. Rob Leese was an expert guide who did a good job
getting us to the right location at the right time. Our hunts were done in a leisurely
fashion since it was easy to limit out within an hour or two at each water hole.
I would recommend the dove hunting to anyone, and it is as close to "hot barrel"
hunting as you can find in the United States.
